Influence of Preparation Methods On the Texture and Structure of Titania-supported On Silica

摘要: Deposition of titanium over a silica support was performed by three methods: precipitation with TiCl4 and ammonium hydroxide in aqueous solution; impregnation titanium(IV) isopropoxide isopropyl alcohol; grafting solution hexane. Samples were characterized BET, XPS, zeta potential, DBS, XRD, SEM EPMA. The method deposition influences deeply the morphology dispersion coated oxide. With method, TiO2 is deposited at external surface silica. Impregnation provides best superficial titania allowing formation small crystallites its surface. gives internal large A strong interaction found between silicon. This work also draws attention to many analytical techniques needed characterize TiO2-coated supports.
