摘要: Abstract Adsorption of Pb(II) ions from aqueous solution onto a low cost adsorbent—the Eupatorium adenophorum spreng has been investigated to evaluate the effects initial lead ion concentration, contact time, pH and temperature on removal systematically. The optimal value for adsorption E. was found be 5.0. Thermodynamic parameters such as standard Gibbs free energy (Δ G °), enthalpy H entropy S °) were evaluated by applying van’t Hoff equation, which describes dependence equilibrium constant temperature. thermodynamics indicated that spontaneous endothermic. Langmuir Freundlich isotherms used analyze data at different temperatures fit isotherm equation better than isotherm. analyzed using pseudo-second-order kinetic models.
