摘要: We have measured the carbon K near-edge x-ray-absorption fine structure of graphite by transmission, electron yield, and fluorescence yield. A rounded prominent peak is identified in spectrum, among other well-known spectral features. With aid a full-potential linearized augmented-plane-wave band calculation, this feature interpreted as originating from interlayer states low-symmetry regions Brillouin zone. This finding relevant to interpreting intercalation compounds specially alkali-metal type.
