摘要: Melt extrusion was used to prepare glycerol-plasticised dry thermoplastic starch (DTPS) in a single-screw extruder. Glycerol combined with water-plasticised (TPS) studied as standard. Citric acid (CA) accelerate the plasticization of DTPS. Scanning electron microscopy revealed that residual granules existed DTPS and plasticisation could be enhanced by CA. Rheological studies proved CA decreases shear viscosity improves fluidity TPS It also Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy glycerol form strong hydrogen bonds presence With increasing content, rigid fragile materials became more flexible, high tensile strength. Dynamic mechanical thermal analysis decrease glass transition temperature increase interaction between starch. Finally, water absorption were measured.
