摘要: In northern Croatia, the Neogene sediments cover complicated basement rocks which consist of Alpine and Dinaridic elements in Zagorje area, Variscan – formations Tisia (Tisza) megatectonic unit Slavonian Mountains (Mts.). The were deposited two separate basins before Karpatian, but sedimentation became uniform from Karpatian onwards (~17.5 Ma). Of 24 localities that we have studied so far paleomagnetically 16 are or younger age, while rest pre-Karpatian.
