摘要: Both hyperhomocysteinemia and chronic kidney disease (CKD) increase risk of cardiovascular disease. In this study, we investigated the association between serum homocysteine level CKD. A total 1,581 participants were recruited from a health check-up center in tertiary hospital Taiwan 2006 2008. Two groups created based on levels above or below 12.24 μmol/l. Estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) was calculated by Modification Diet Renal Disease equation; defined CKD as an eGFR 60 ml/min/1.73 m2. Multivariate logistic linear regression analyses used to estimate associations function. Subjects with elevated older had higher body mass index, blood pressures, fasting plasma glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides, than those normal level. Using multiple after adjustment for age, sex, lifestyle habits (smoking, alcohol consumption, betel nut chewing) diseases (hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia), odds ratio (95 % confidence interval) having 5.76 (2.99–11.1) among subjects compared levels. The significant ratios progressive reveals dose–response effect. After confounders, at resulted significantly negatively correlated eGFR. Elevated appear be closely associated Serum are
