Multiple environmental states affecting penaeid shrimp production in Peru

摘要: A modification of the Schaefer surplus-production model was used to account for environmental induced variations shrimp (Penaeus vannamei) catch in northern Peru. Based on time series catch, effort, river discharge and sea surface temperature, fluctuations shrimps are explained discussed with respect multiple level carrying capacity hence different maximum sustainable yields.
