摘要: Bogren offers an outline of the complex and shifting gendered meanings attributed to young adults’ drinking drunkenness in period between 1990s present. Focusing on shifts meaning brought about by consumer society, post-feminism, health risk approaches alcohol, chapter identifies four key discourses alcohol consumption. These relation femininity masculinity among adults are examined, using research Swedish media as illustrative examples. As well looking into problematizing celebratory drinking, also draws attention gender, class. The concludes with a discussion tensions contradictions involved future femininity, adults.
