摘要: Different techniques for the measurement of lipid peroxidation in isolated hepatocytes have been compared. Measurements ethane production, chemiluminescence and fluorescent products correlated extremely well with those malondialdehyde formation. Of five different studied, measurements production were found to be most sensitive indices peroxidation. Incubation up 4 hr presence ethylmorphine aminopyrine, at concentrations known stimulate H202 completely failed increase amount chemiluminescence, or produced these cells, indicating that drug-stimulated H2O2 did not lead an increased rate liver cells under experimental conditions employed. The relationship between peroxidation, as measured by cytotoxic effects bromobenzene carbon tetrachloride has also studied. results obtained further indicate is important event hepatotoxicity, but it appears only a subsequent toxicity, possibly occurring result ofglutathione depletion cell death.
