摘要: Aggressive periodontitis (AgP) is a severe periodontal disease characterized by rapid destruction of the tissues supporting teeth in otherwise healthy individuals. The frequency interleukin-4 homozygous -34TT and -590TT genotype was increased patients comparison with controls. This study aimed to test functional effect this specific AgP analyzing gene expression IL-4 STAT6, protein concentration IL-4, activated CD4+ T cells. Results revealed an STAT6 production cells who were for -34T -590T alleles -34C -590C (p<0.05). These findings demonstrate that has on helper (Th) AgP, inducing IL-4.
