摘要: Introduction: Cryptococcal meningoencephalitis (CM) is a rare infection in pediatric patients, which associated with substantial morbidity and mortality. Since symptoms of this are nonspecific, the diagnosis relies on risk assessment laboratory-confirmed clinical findings. Initial management commonly utilizes amphotericin B flucytosine, followed by prolonged fluconazole to clear yeast prevent relapse. no prospective trials have been performed much data extrapolated from adult studies pharmacokinetic data.
