摘要: In an investigation of Amazonian soil as a natural reservoir for pathogenic fungi, 1,949 samples collected from diverse geographical and ecological settings the Brazilian Amazon Basin were analyzed presence non-keratinophilic fungi by indirect mouse inoculation procedure keratinophilic hair bait technique. All acidic with low pH values. From 12% samples, 241 yeast yeastlike isolates pertaining to six genera 82 species recovered, which 63% Torulopsis 26% Candida species. Nine known potentials encountered among 43% (104) isolates: T. glabrata, C. guilliermondii, albicans, pseudotropicalis, stellatoidea, tropicalis, Rhodotorula rubra, Wangiella dermatitidis. The flora was marked diversity, frequency each species, random distribution, apparent lack clustering. composition distribution in differed those harbored bats, suggesting that external environment internal bat organs act independent habitats yeasts.
