Dear Citizen Photojournalists: Who are you? Studying the motivations and values of citizen photojournalists

摘要: The photojournalistic landscape is undergoing dramatic change, and professional photojournalism increasingly being supplemented with – in some cases, replaced amateur, citizen content. This study undertakes to examine these changes the visual change news environment by looking at motivations values of photojournalist through interviews 19 photojournalists. findings suggest that photojournalists are savvy photojournalism, but often reject normative lieu reflect characteristics amateur content-creators.
