摘要: Abstract The original Screener and Opioid Assessment for Patients with Pain (SOAPP) is a conceptually derived self-report questionnaire designed to predict aberrant medication-related behaviors among chronic pain patients considered long-term opioid therapy. purpose of this study was develop validate an empirically version the SOAPP (SOAPP-R) that addresses some limitations SOAPP. In successive steps, items were reduced from initial pool 142 97-item beta version. administered 283 receiving Items evaluated based on data collected at follow-up, including correlation Aberrant Drug Behavior Index (ADBI), interview data, physician ratings, urine toxicology screens. Twenty-four retained comprise final SOAPP-R. Coefficient α .88, receiver operating characteristics curve analysis yielded area under .81 ( P Perspective There need screener abuse risk in prescribed opioids pain. This presents revised SOAPP-R good reliability validity but less susceptible overt deception than 1.
