摘要: On the basis of magnetopause model developed by Beard and Mead, dependence shape geometry magnetopause, especially position neutral points, on several effects not included in old have been investigated. The approximation that all particles are incident parallel to Earth-Sun line has dropped, an angular distribution for solar-wind introduced, with intention taking into account turbulence plasma magnetosheath. Under same assumptions, various tilt angles dipole respect direction considered. alterations caused a purely southward or northward directed interplanetary magnetic field calculated influence current sheet is analysed. For each these cases, pressure-balance equation given which expresses equilibrium between kinetic particle pressures. numerical results noon-midnight meridional plane presented compared satellite observations.
