摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter focuses on thermodynamics and kinetics of the intramolecular complex in flavin-adenine dinucleotide (FAD). The existence an FAD between adenine isoalloxazine rings is now well proven. quantum efficiency a population fluorescent molecules can be affected by static quenching due to molecular interactions ground state predating excitation dynamic excited singlet because throughout lifetime. A visual comparison measured lifetimes efficiencies immediately reveals nature quenching. Van't Hoff Arrhenius plots yielded thermodynamic constants, which reveal four important characteristics strong isoalloxazine–adenine water. quantitative results are agreement with other experimental observations stacked dinucleotides polynucleotides negative entropy enthalpy changes formation have also been found.
