摘要: A minimally invasive spinous process fixation system includes dual rigid clamps, each configured to articulate axially along a cylindrical shaft, and together enclose clamp around the adjacent or superior by means of opposing swiveling spherical contact heads with spiked faces. The clamps are lockable when desired compression is achieved. pedicle has right left bodies for enveloping pre-existing rods. Each upper lower metal plates supporting medial lateral swivel cups. cups engage about connecting rod extending from clamp, one channel through accepts locking screw simultaneously tighten fix in place rod. cross-connection between fixes at selected position.
