System and method for synchronizing enhancing content with a video program using closed captioning

摘要: A system and method uses the closed captioning script to synchronize supplemental data with specified junctures in a video program. parser parses identify set of unique phrases, each phrase having same number words. program producer decides what points introduce enhancing content. The associates used activate content specific key phrases that correspond desired creates file which contains listing their association data. is delivered viewer computing units at user's homes. When played, unit monitors detect listed file.
