摘要: Background: Recurrent apthous ulceration (RAU) is a well known oral disease which seems to be mediated principally by the immune system. However, it still matter of debate part system implicated in its pathogenesis as reaction unknown antigen. The aim this study was evaluate salivary cytokines, interleukin (IL)-6, and tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α. Methods: In 26 patients with minor RAU, age range 23-49 years (mean 27.3 years), during both acute phase remission healthy controls, 22-64 30.1 IL-6 TNF-α levels were determined use enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Statistical analysis performed descriptive statistics. Results: Significant differences between controls RAU period found (P < 0.001) those 0.001). No all three groups could found. Conclusions: We might conclude that elevated especially are importance whereas seem not play role disease.
