摘要: The molecular weight distribution (MWD) is derived for polymers generated by self-condensing vinyl polymerization (SCVP) of a monomer having and an initiator group (“inimer”) in the presence multifunctional initiator. If added slowly to solution (semi-batch process), this leads hyperbranched with core. are mixed simultaneously (batch even at conversions as high 99%, total MWD consists which have grown via reactions between inimer molecules (i.e., normal SCVP process) those reacted Consequently, distribution, w(M), bimodal. However, z-distribution, z(M), equivalent “GPC distribution”, w(log M) vs log M, unimodal.
