Average daily variations in the magnetic field as observed by ATS-5

摘要: Hourly averages of the magnetic field components are determined and analyzed using measurements, by monitor (MFM) aboard ATS-5 satellite. The data covering time period September 1969 through 1971 sorted for various Kp values, geomagnetic latitude subsolar point, local time. Local variations harmonically analyzed, amplitudes phases given up to fourth harmonic.
