Factors associated with effective coverage of child health services in Burkina Faso.

摘要: OBJECTIVE To identify factors associated with both crude and effective health service coverage of under-fives in rural Burkina Faso. METHODS In a cross-sectional study, 494 first-line facilities, 7347 households 12 497 were surveyed. Two sequential logistic random effects models conducted to assess coverage. RESULTS Of 614 children under-five reported illness episode, 427 (69.5%) received care at facility. those, 274 (64.1%) facility providing least the minimum threshold quality. We found that younger age, having severe illness, shorter distance between household facility, being from wealthier positively addition, low patient caseload longer consultation had positive association, while frequent supervisions negative association Moreover, nurse clinical staff ratio was CONCLUSION Our study is pre-disposing enabling access, availability nurses strong predictor for This suggests context scarcity resources, investing human resources sector could be one priorities decision-makers ensure need not only access healthcare but also good quality care.
