摘要: Rat pancreatic islet cells and RINm5F cells, an derived cell line, have at their surface N-acetylgalactosaminylphosphotransferase (GalNAcPTase) similar to that found the of chick neural retina rat neuromuscular junction. On GalNAcPTase is stably associated with cadherin cell-cell adhesion molecules. The effect antibodies directed against on homophilic, mediated was analyzed by measuring immobilized anti-cadherin antibody. In this experimental paradigm anti-GalNAcPtase completely inhibit adhesion. Furthermore, co-distribute in non-islet tissue. We conclude under control a tightly associated, GalNAcPTase.
