摘要: Large inactive regions of the retina adult cats were produced by novel method inducing monocular retinal detachment. Within a few hours, neurones throughout detachment projection zone in primary visual cortex (55-136 mm2), including some > 4.5 mm from its boundary, found to have large receptive fields displaced onto intact retina. The new represented shifts up 9 across retinotopic representation. For these rapid changes occur pre-existing viable circuits must provide cortical locus with inputs wide extent Receptive fields, and map, for stimulation other eye unchanged.
