Elastic scattering and vibrational excitation cross sections for electron collisions with C2F6

摘要: Absolute elastic cross sections for e-C2F6 collisions have been measured impact energies of 2 to 100 eV and scattering angles from 10 130 degrees . From these, the integrated momentum transfer were obtained by extrapolation numerical integration. Energy loss spectra vibrational excitation. The excitation functions show resonances at 4.3 8.5 eV. By decomposition symmetry analysis according angular correlation theory, assigned a temporary trapping electrons in a2u (4.3 eV) eu (8.5 antibonding orbitals molecule.
