摘要: We determined whether the combination of 48-bp variable number tandem repeat polymorphism dopamine (DRD4) gene and infants' (fussy-difficult) temperament predicted parenting sensitivity. The sample was comprised 147 mothers their 6-month olds. Sensitive assessed by coding filmed interactions between infants. Infant parents' reports on a standard questionnaire. Moderated regressions models, with maternal education interactive behavior as controls, were used to test our hypotheses. Results showed no main effects either or DRD4, though DRD4 x infant interaction significant. Probes indicated that parents 7-repeat allele behaved more sensitively fussier infants less fussy compared without allele. Among those parents, sensitivity did not vary temperament. This pattern results indicates are differentially susceptible fussiness, dependent presence
