摘要: INTRODUCTION Data on HIV treatment outcomes in people who inject drugs (PWID) the Asia-Pacific are sparse despite high burden of drug use. We assessed immunological and virological responses, AIDS-defining events mortality among PWID receiving antiretroviral therapy (ART). METHODS investigated acquired via injecting use TREAT Asia Observational Database (TAHOD) between January 2003 March 2019. Trends CD4 count viral suppression (VS, load <1000 copies/mL) were assessed. Factors associated with mean changes analysed using repeated measures linear regression, combined AIDS event survival analysis. RESULTS Of 622 from 12 countries Asia-Pacific, 93% male median age at ART initiation was 31 years (IQR, 28 to 34). The pre-ART 71 cells/µL. counts increased over time, a difference 401 (95% CI, 372 457) cells/µL year-10 (n = 78). Higher follow-up smaller increases counts. Among 361 ≥1 after six months ART, proportions VS 82%, 88% 2-, 5- 10-years following initiation. There 52 new 50 deaths during 3347 person-years (PYS) (incidence 3.05/100 PYS, 95% 2.51 3.70). Previous or TB diagnosis, lower current adherence <95% death. CONCLUSIONS Despite improved our findings highlight need for rapid support within Asian settings.
