摘要: This paper aims to get a better understanding of the motivational and transaction cost features building global scientific research commons, with view contributing debate on design appropriate policy measures under recently adopted Nagoya Protocol. For this purpose, analyses results world-wide survey managers users microbial culture collections, which focused role social internalized motivations, organizational networks external incentives in promoting public availability upstream assets. Overall, study confirms hypotheses production model information shareable goods, but it also shows need complete model. sharing materials, underlying collaborative economy excess capacity plays key addition production, while for data, competitive pressures amongst scientists tend play bigger role.
