摘要: A direct relationship exists between shear stress and endothelium-dependent NO-mediated vasodilation of blood vessels. The transduction to the biochemical signals resulting in production NO is, however, unknown. We tested hypothesis that integrin binding Arg-Gly-Asp (RGD) peptide sequences extracellular matrix proteins is a critical step initiation signaling sequence whereby activates endothelial tyrosine kinase(s) induces isolated arterioles. Isolated coronary arterioles were exposed increasing under control conditions presence synthetic peptide, GRGDNP, competitively inhibit containing RGD sequences.
