摘要: Abstract In the present study, Cu–4Cr–xZrC nanocomposites have been developed through powder metallurgy route by varying proportions of zirconium carbide viz. (0–10 wt.%). The required green compacts were prepared using die set assembly in a compression testing machine. Consequently, hot extruded samples tested for dry sliding wear and friction pin-on-disc SEM, XRD, pin on-disc system Vickers hardness tester used to evaluate characterization, tribological properties respectively nanocomposites. From observations, it was found that coefficient increased progressively with increasing load distance. Furthermore, specific rate (SWR) decreased when compared composites pure copper. Hardness increases addition nano ZrC content into matrix composites.
