No Demos? Identities and Public Spheres in the Euro Crisis

摘要: This article takes issue with the ‘no demos’ thesis about European Union. Empirically speaking, a ‘demos’ requires sense of community among citizens, on one hand, and lively public spheres in which political issues are debated, other.
