摘要: Many short-term experiments have been conducted under increasing CO2 but results varied and not yet led to a conclusive quantitative understanding of the response plant growth. This may partly due lack explicit consideration positive feedback inherent in growth during periods exponential can increase an initial physiological enhancement relative rate (RGR) into much larger biomass enhancement. To overcome this problem, we re-analysed existing experimental data from 78 publications. We calculated RGRs C3 plants their elevated derived indices that were independent duration RGR at normal atmospheric CO2. The unstressed increased by 14 ± 2% doubled CO2, with observed linearly correlated photosynthetic enhancements (based on Farquhar-von Caemmerer-Berry photosynthesis model), only half numeric values. Calculated did change significantly for temperatures 12 40°C, reduced nutrient limitation, water stress or low irradiance. concluded offer simple cost-effective insights responses, provided they are analysed calculating changes strictly phase.
