Integration of the Boltzmann collision term over scattering angles

摘要: In case the distribution function of field particle is Maxwellian, Boltzmann collision term for both Coulomb and smooth rigid elastic interaction directly integrated over scattering angles without using Taylor series expansion. For interaction, a cutoff Δvα min introduced instead usual θmin cutoff. A form (∂fα/∂t)c=∫[G(v’α) −G(vα)]C(vα,v’α)dv’α obtained.
