摘要: Abstract Heart rate is a very sensitive measure for evaluating the physiological strain in industrial muscular work. A review of literature showed that most researchers resorted to manual counting heart beats. Some use analog devices such as cardiotachometers and few digital systems which are often expensive. Moreover, existing cardiac monitors were developed patient monitoring physical activities do not require severe contractions chest muscles. They suitable heavy because signal interference. The main objective present study develop test an on-line microcomputer-based system capable accurately rapidly computing individuals engaged tasks. design, specifications merits given. software package written macroassembly language IBM AT personal computer. experimental evaluation shows high degree correlation between computer calculations ( r = 0.977 ). indicates highly accurate.
