摘要: Objective To describe the cases of percutaneous valve failure following implantation Medtronic Melody™ and Edwards Sapien™ in tricuspid position. Background: There have been recent reports use percutaneously delivered valves to manage failing bioprosthetic valves. Total patient numbers remain small follow-up times are limited. Methods We four procedures three patients from two centers where within scaffold a was technically successful but there early failure. Results In all cases, immediate results suggested excellent function; however, occurred later one. Two elected for explantation surgical placement further valve. The third underwent second valve-in-valve procedure though this is also showing signs failure. Conclusions Transcatheter position relatively straightforward raises some concerns about viability position, at least patients. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
