Synthesis, Properties, and Structures of Low‐Melting Tetraisocyanatocobaltate(II)‐Based Ionic Liquids

摘要: A series of new ionic liquids the formula Ax[CoII(NCO)4] with [CoII(NCO)4]2 anion and nitrogen-based organic cations was synthesized. The single crystal structures all compounds were determined by X-ray diffraction reveal for cases existence discrete ions. magnetic behavior at room temperature is paramagnetic resulting from high-spin tetrahedrally coordinated CoII Melting points or glass transition temperatures are found in range some singly charged cations, above 100 °C doubly [PPN]+ salt. Each compound has been characterized elemental analysis, NMR-, IR-, UV/Vis- spectroscopy. Measurements density, dynamic viscosity, conductivity surface tension low melting substance [EMIm]2[Co(NCO)4] show, that they differ slightly but generally comparable to corresponding values isothiocyanato complexes.
