摘要: Phlorotannins are considered inter alia to act protective a variety of stressors while lipids in spores known fuel various metabolic processes during spore release and settlement. Here, phlorotannin production zoospores/ juvenile gametophytes relation lipid metabolism was investigated for the first time order study related costs. The experiment carried out NyAlesund (Svalbard, Arctic) within development from brown alga Saccharina latissima over 20 days. In stage, total content single zoospores 1.5 x 10 μg 1.9 surrounding medium. Upon release, amount 1.76 zoospore containing major fatty acids 16:0 18:0, 18:1(n-9), 18:2 (n-6), 18:3(n-3), 20:4(n-6) 20:5(n-3). During gametophytes, decrease observed via electron microscopy acid 18:1(n-9) 45 30 % measured by gas chromatography particular. While remained stable, phlorotannins accumulated medium 4.0 -7 indicating exudation processes. Results obtained support key multifunctional role zoospore/gametophyte may indicate that S. need approximately days switch photo-autotrophic strategies, becoming independent storage lipids. addition, might represent an essential energy source adaptive responses.
