摘要: A segment of 712 bases coding for part the human stearoyl-CoA desaturase gene was made by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) using primers based on published rat cDNA sequences. The PCR product confirmed DNA sequencing. It next cloned into a vector from which anti-sense, highly radioactive RNA transcripts were in vitro T7 polymerase. used to probe mRNA number tumour and control tissues, very sensitive solution hybridization/RNase protection assay. Increased levels found colonic oesophageal carcinomas hepatocellular adenoma; however, no consistent trend seen carcinoma. is suggested that certain classes may exhibit increased mRNA. © 1994 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
