摘要: One of the most exciting and successful ideas pursued in string theory is gauge/gravity duality. We consider example AdS/CFT correspondence, which maps maximally supersymmetric Yang-Mills (N = 4 SYM) four dimensions with gauge group U(N) to closed strings propagating a background Anti de Sitter space crossed sphere (AdS5 × S5). Much progress has been made understanding this duality planar ’t Hooft limit, where we fix coupling λ take N large. On gravity side gs proportional 1/N for fixed λ, so limit get classical theory. In thesis use symmetric methods study correspondence exactly at finite , without taking limit. This takes into quantum regime allows us probe phenomena are non-perturbative gs. First enumerate spectrum. While spectrum non-trivial it further complicated by Stringy Exclusion Principle, truncates usual trace organise local operators using representations U(N), heavy interpreted terms giant graviton branes bulk. To do sort different fields global superconformal symmetry SchurWeyl then compute twoand three-point functions these all orders free one loop. correlation resolve certain transition probabilities gravitons CFT factorisation.
