摘要: One of the most accepted engineering construction concepts underground repositories for high radioactive waste considers use low-pH cementitious materials. This paper deals with design those based on Ordinary Portland Cements contents silica fume and/or fly ashes that modify concrete 'standard' properties, pore fluid composition and microstructure hydrated products. Their resistance to long-term groundwater aggression is also evaluated. The results show OPC cement binders content produces waters these pastes different from conventional ones, generating C-S-H gels lower CaO/SiO{sub 2} ratios possibly bind alkali ions. Leaching tests a good concretes against although an altered front can be observed.
