Increasing trends in kidney cancer over the last 2 decades in Saudi Arabia

摘要: Objectives: To examine the trends of kidney cancer over last 2 decades in a subset Saudi Arabian population. Methods: We conducted retrospective study tertiary care center including all adult patients with primary who presented and were managed between 1990 2010. The time period was split into 4 quartiles, variables tested compared using chi-square, T-test, Kaplan-Meier curves for survival. Results: total 215 mean age 57.8 years. There an increase number cases decades. no significant difference mode presentation  or stage distribution quartiles. A change observed management towards minimally invasive nephron-sparing surgeries ( p less than 0.001). recurrence-free disease-specific survival 20 Conclusions: have been increasing migration more incidental low tumors as developed countries.
