Dynamic and static effects on 35Cl nuclear quadrupole resonance due to substitutional impurities in crystalline p-dichlorobenzene

摘要: The 35Cl nuclear quadrupole resonance (NQR) spectra of p-dichlorobenzene doped with p-bromochlorobenzene and p-dibromobenzene have been studied. measurements were carried out as a function the concentration up to 10% impurities at four temperatures in 77 K-295 K range. diminish integrated intensity, shift peak line, increase linewidth. frequency varies linearly impurity concentration, slope depending upon solute molecule temperature. increment linewidth depends on molecule, but not observed changes NQR signal are accounted for by considering perturbation electric field gradient produced elastic distortion lattice, variations charge distribution phonon spectra.
