Mechanical properties of polycrystalline RuSr2GdCu2O8 superconductor

摘要: Abstract The main objective of this paper is to report the room temperature hardness and elastic modulus RuSr 2 GdCu O 8 superconductor phase by instrumented indentation. Polycrystalline samples were produced a solid state reaction technique. also characterized scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction electrical resistivity measurements. influence porosity on mechanical properties was avoided considering only those indentations inside grains. 8.6 GPa 145 GPa, respectively. These values are comparable with Y-123. indentation fracture toughness evaluated after conventional Vickers 1.9 MPa m 1/2 .
