摘要: One strategy that has gained much attention in the last decades is understanding and further mimicking of structures behaviours found nature, as inspiration to develop materials with additional functionalities. This review presents recent advances stimuli-responsive gels emphasis on functional hydrogels microgels. The first part highlights high impact science. From macro micro scale, also collects most studies preparation hybrid polymeric microgels composed a nanoparticle (able respond external stimuli), encapsulated or grown into matrix (microgel). combination gave rise interesting multi-responsive paved new path for multi-stimuli “smart” systems. Finally, special focused generation polymer able self-shape (shape-memory) and/or self-repair. functionality could be considered closing loop smart gels.
