Fitting entrepreneurial, firm-level and environmental contingencies for better performance

摘要: This book reports the outcomes of a BELSPO (the Belgian Federal Science Policy Office) research project. The authors develop and estimate (parts of) comprehensive model in which micro-performance SMEs is determined by complex web factors. These are situated at level entrepreneur, organization environment. In this modeling, fit between individual, strategy, structure environment key to attain better performance terms of, for example, efficiency or profitability. Strategy assumed be linking pin entrepreneur’s (or his her venture’s) strengths weaknesses, opportunities threats line with contingency approach, utilize multi-disciplinary theoretical lens combination analysis techniques that allow identification fits (and misfits), such as conditional processes dynamic multi-level QCA analysis.
