摘要: Abstract: Glutamine is the most abundant free amino acid in human body. Although glutamine not an essential acid, it important nitrogenous nutrient for diploid cells growing culture. has cell- and immune-modulating properties affects lymphocyte monocyte metabolism. Moreover one of precursors glutathione, stimulates expression heat shock proteins influences gene expression. starvation activates adenosine 5'-monophosphate-activated protein kinase (AMPK) possibly involved metabolism temporal hibernation. used as a nutritional substrate enteral parenteral nutrition (mainly form stable dipeptide) positive effect on immune response. Studies morbidity mortality are contradictory.
