摘要: Abstract: The Sanandaj-Sirjan Zone is a metamorphic-magmatic belt, associated with the Zagros Orogen and part of Alpine-Himalayan orogenic system in Iran. Stratigraphic, metamorphic, magmatic, tectonic evidence presented here indicates that Zone, Central Iranian Microcontinent, North West Plate were Arabian plate until Late Permian, when they separated during opening Neotethys. Later subduction Neotethys oceanic crust beneath resulted complete closure Paleotethys Ocean Early Upper Triassic. following extensional regime (related to slab roll-back) caused separation block, Iran Triassic Lower Jurassic. these continental blocks sedimentation differences time. Tabriz Nain-Baft Faults are probably boundary between basin block (the Microcontinent Plate) closed Cretaceous. After that, terranes experienced similar geological evolution, especially from Oligocene Miocene.
