摘要: Abstract 2-Amino 4-methylpyridinium 3-chlorobenzoate (2A4M3CB) was synthesized and good quality single crystals of the size 8 × 2 × 1.2 mm3 were harvested from methanol by slow evaporation solution growth technique at ambient temperature. Single crystal XRD reveals that 2A4M3CB crystallized in monoclinic system with noncentrosymmetric space group P21. The crystalline phases functional groups have been identified confirmed through powder X-ray diffraction Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) studies, respectively. 1H 13C NMR recorded to interpret molecular structure. optical transmittance window lower cutoff wavelength UV–Vis–NIR studies. Thermal mechanical stability explained TG/DTA Vickers hardness analysis. Charge transport mechanism photo response properties analyzed dielectric photoconductivity Powder second harmonic generation (SHG) characteristics phase matching ability explored Kurtz Perry SHG technique.
