Experimental Auralization of Car Audio Installations

摘要: Wide-frequency-range auralization, such as needed for car audio, cannot be accomplished using currently available software architectural acoustics modeling, since these are optimized large rooms. This is due to the limitations of geometrical acoustics, which forms basis programs. The possibilities other models predicting binaural room impulse responses low frequencies have been studied. Finite-element and boundary-element being used at frequencies, in conjunction with an augmented model high facilitate wide-frequency range auralization of, example, audio installations. Different approaches low-frequency modeling described. signal processing joining results from low- high-frequency described detail. Results preliminary listening tests discussed.
