摘要: Epigenetic and genetic cis-regulatory elements in diploid organisms may cause allele specific expression (ASE) – unequal of the two chromosomal gene copies. Genomic imprinting is an intriguing type ASE which some genes are expressed monoallelically from either paternal or maternal as a result epigenetic modifications. Imprinted have been identified several animal species frequently associated with embryonic development growth. Whether genomic exists chickens remains debatable, previous studies reported conflicting evidence. Albeit no has chicken embryo whole, we interrogated existence absence in the 12-day-old brain liver by examining F1 reciprocal crosses highly inbred lines (Fayoumi Leghorn). We 5197 4638 SNPs, corresponding to 18.3% 17.3% detectable liver, respectively. There was evidence detected liver. While ruling out possibility imprinted Z-chromosome inactivation, our results indicated that Z-linked partially compensated between sexes chickens.
